A 60 minute immersion lesson
followed by a school wide snack for children late elementary to junior high school
. Students will read Italian texts correctly and apply basic rules of grammar when writing sentences or paragraphs.
Special attention will be devoted to verbal forms (indicativo futuro, imperfetto e passato prossimo). A wide variety of topics and cultural elements will guide the students to practice and refine their oral and written communication skills.
The students will use the textbook Espresso 1 written in Italian, plus grammar materials derived from Espresso Grammatica, and other ICC resources. Espresso 1 can be ordered through the applauselearning.com web site.
No
classes on:
Sunday February 16 (Presidents' Day),
Sunday March 16 (Carnevale),
and from Sunday April 13 to Easter Sunday April 20 (SPRING BREAK).
