A 60 minute immersion lesson,
following a school wide snack, for bilingual children in elementary
to junior high school
. Students will read Italian texts correctly, write sentences and small paragraphs, and expand their grammar skills using verbs in the indicative future and past tenses (imperfetto e passato prossimo). Lesson topics will include a wide variety of cultural elements, from art and mythology to current events, songs, poetry, and geography.
Students will use the "Espresso 2" textbook written in Italian that should be purchased before the first class through

.
No classes on Sunday October 20 (Minnesota Education Conference) and Sunday December 1st (Thanksgiving). Our traditional Christmas party will coincide with the last lesson of December 15 and will be held in room 502.
