The Euro-American Celebration is scheduled for May 1 – 9, 2013. Organized by the Alliance Française of Mpls/St.Paul, the Italian Cultural Center is proud to support this week-long celebration, highlighting Euro-American friendship.
The Euro-American Celebration integrates cultural, social and educational events to increase awareness, knowledge and understanding of the European Union in the United States. It aims to mix fun, friendly exchanges with information and endeavors to give the American public a chance to learn more about the European Union.

Wednesday, May 1: “Meet the European Union” Opening Celebration
Former Italian senator and ICC co-founder, Massimo Bonavita is a guest speaker. Be sure to visit the ICC table.
Sunday, May 5
“European Cup” Soccer Tournament & Barbecue
Sunday, May 5 at 9 am
Maple Grove Senior High School Turf Fields
9800 Fernbrook Lane North, Maple Grove, 55369
- All players should arrive at 9 am sharp.
- Games will begin promptly at 9:30 am in order to end at 1 pm.
- 2 Fields: around 50 x 25 yards each
- Game duration: 15 -20 mn, based on final number of teams
- Players: 7 players (6+1 goalkeeper) + subs
- Each team will provide 1 referee
- $10 per player for the tournament and the BBQ
