This year, ICC will take you to Torino, a hidden gem off-the-beaten path. Nested in the northwestern region of Piedmont, famous for its alpine ski resorts and home of the white truffle and some of the best red Italian wines (Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Barbera), Torino offers a unique blend of art, culture and quality food experiences.
Torino has been described as Italy’s most elegant city, with its Baroque and Art Deco architecture featuring a fascinating historic center with grand squares, cobbled streets, and art nouveau cafes. For centuries, Torino was the seat of the royal Savoy family and from 1861 to 1865 it was Italy’s first capital. Torino is also known for its amazing museums and for being the birthplace of Italian Cinema and the Aperitivo!
Astrid Garino, President of ICC and a native of Torino will accompany you on the journey.
