Planning to travel to Italy? Do you want to discover the beauty and the diversity of each of the 20 Italian regions?
Improve your travel experience knowing more about each region of Italy. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from the expert regional guides. Each region offers a unique experience including art and cultural cities, landscape and nature, outdoor activities and local food and wine.
Our virtual tour will take us in Piemonte, where you can find beauty, freedom, taste and spirituality.
Beauty. Between the past and the avant-garde, admire the UNESCO World Heritage Baroque architectural masterpieces, Torino, the first capital of Italy, the villages and bustling art cities, villas, castles and gardens, and the widespread wealth of contemporary art.
Freedom. With more than 95 protected areas, among which two National Parks, and a myriad of routes discover freedom on foot or by bicycle, along mountain paths as on hilly and plain itineraries or along the shores of amazing lakes, such as Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta.
Taste. A true star of the table is the Alba White Truffle! Try it with risotto, then enjoy the palate with the fritto misto alla Piemontese (mixed fried meat, vegetables and fruit), and the vitello tonnato (veal in a tuna-flavored mayonnaise sauce) and enjoy cream Toma cheese! Pumpkins and hunchback thistle from Nizza Monferrato, raw and cooked vegetables are perfect for the queen of sauces: the unique bagna cauda. A mix of chestnuts from Val di Susa and Cuneo, fragrant grapes, persimmon, hazelnuts, cranberries and pears bring the warm autumn colors on your table. Then, the excellent craft beers or a glass of the superbe Piedmontese wines are the cherry on top.
Spirituality. Find spirituality and history by going along the paths of the Sacred Mountains UNESCO or the Via Francigena, the Sindonic and Romanesque Paths or the Jewish art itineraries; the Alta Via dei Walser or the path of the Glorious Repatriation of the Waldensians.
