Sapori Italiani Artisanal Food Crafted in the USA Belgioioso Cheese Wednesday, December 8, 6:00 - 7:30 pm In-person Demonstration, Participation and Tasting Maximum 10 participants Looking to find the best Italian flavors locally? What do they have in common with the ones produced in Italy? The “highest quality” is the common denominator of artisanal food crafted in USA and Italy. Local food artisans use the highest quality ingredients and Italian techniques to create quality Italian flavored gourmet food products which are available on site. Local artisans sometimes import the machinery and bring in experts from Italy to assure an Italian quality product, creating a unique partnership between the USA and Italy. Looking to find new appetizer ideas for your next holiday party? Join us to meet Wayne Spurlock, cheese expert at Belgioioso Cheese, and observe him practicing his craft while making mozzarella in the traditional Italian way. Partecipate in the stretching and molding process. Learn about the different soft cheeses Belgioioso makes and what these soft cheeses have in common with the ones made in Italy. Drink a glass of wine, learn how to make mozzarella and taste some new ways to use these soft cheeses in your next "aperitivo"! At the end of the class you will be given take-way samples to go home!
