You are invited to a wonderful concert by Ivailo Giurov – a prominent Bulgarian singer! Organizer ‐ Bulgarian School ‘Saints Cyril and Methodius’, Minnesota
Ivailo Giurov studied under Luciano Pavarotti in 2005 and was a lead soloist in the US opera production company "Teatro Lyrico D'Europa" in 2007 & 2008. He has given over 80 performances in more than 20 opera houses in the US and in major opera houses in Japan as well. With an amazing, powerful voice and a repertoire of more than 2,500 songs in 10 languages, Ivailo sings in a style ranging from classical to traditional to pop.
The concert will be in two parts. Part 1 – popular Eastern European ballads (Ochi Chernye, Bulgarska Roza, Burgaski Vecheri, etc.), Italian canzonettas and classical tenor arias; Part 2 ‐ Bulgarian folklore songs (Izlel e Delyo Haidutin, Belite Manastiri, Nazad Mome Kalino, Ohridskoto Ezero, Makedonsko Devoyche, More Sokol Pie, Hubava Si Moya Goro, etc.)
