Tracing Events of Recent Italian Historyat the Walker Art Center Join us at the Walker Art Center for another “Made for ICC” tour! This tour will focus on works currently on view at the Walker that reference events of Italian history, first and foremost early 20th century Italian anarchists and the terrorist left-wing movement Brigate Rosse. Through the discussion of works by German photographer Wolfgang Tillmans and Italian sculptor Lara Favaretto, the tour will also include considerations about the current Italian political landscape thus linking the past with the present. The tour will take place on Thursday, November 29, from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. Participants will meet at the Walker Art Center main lobby on Vineland. ------------------------------------- Lorella Angelini has been a Tour Guide with the Walker Art Center since 2003. She arrived in the United States twenty years ago when she accepted a transfer within the multinational company she was working for in Milan. She holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from Marche Polytechnic University and she specialized in Marketing at SDA Bocconi in Milan. Deeply passionate about art, especially contemporary art, Lorella has been building her knowledge through collaboration with the Walker Art Center and the Weisman Museum of Art.
