A 60 minute immersion lesson, following a school snack, for bilingual kids between ages 11 to 16. Students will read Italian texts correctly, write sentences and small paragraphs, and expand their grammar skills using verbs in the indicative future and past indicative tenses (imperfetto, passato prossimo, e passato remoto). Through free writing the students will be able to expand and to refine their grammar skills and learn the use of the conditional tense in conversation. Lesson topics will include a wide variety of cultural elements, from art and mythology to current events, songs, poetry, and geography.
Important Messages:
The ICC requires a minimum of 4 students in any group class. When enrollment drops below this number, the families will be offered the option of remitting a tuition supplement. If all involved families agree to the supplement, the class can materialize.
Membership: Committee of the ICC has adopted a policy requiring membership for all language classes. Membership allows lower rates on classes than previously charged for non-member registration. Plus, membership includes discounts on other classes and events, as well as other benefits. Family membership is recommended, which covers parents and children. NOTE: HOW TO REGISTER MORE THAN ONE CHILD FOR THIS CLASS Please register the first child, click on "pay online", the PayPal window will open, click on "Cancel and return to the Italian Cultural Center", once back on the ICC website click on the "new registration" button on the bottom right corner, register the second child and click on "Pay Online", this should allow you to make one single payment for both registrations. For any additional child that needs to be registered in another class, please start a new registration and make a separate payment.
