Carnevale is coming up!
Join Romina Montanari, native Italian instructor and passionate cook, and make your own Frappe! These rectangles of sweet pastry dough fried and coated with powdered sugar are typical tasty Carnevale treats made throughout Italy and called by various names: chiacchiere, sfrappole, crostoli, bugie, cenci and many more depending on the region.
The group will taste the fresh made Frappe with a glass of Prosecco.
Don't forget to bring a tray and 2 flour sack towels (or light kitchen towels) and a large container with you as you will carry back home some frappe!
The event will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Mid-City Kitchen, 693 Raymond Avenue, St. Paul 55114. Free parking available.
Register now: our cooking classes are popular and fill quickly.
As always, all events must be cancelled at least 72 hours in advance to receive a refund, less administrative costs.
