A 60 minute full-immersion lesson for teens with bilingual or advanced comprehension and speaking skills. The goals of the class are as follows:
to foster peer friendships among local Italian speaking teens.
to deepen understanding of contemporary Italian culture.
to expand vocabulary beyond the domain of conversations that typically take place in the bilingual home.
Italian language newspaper and magazine articles, stories, videoclips, songs and other sources will be used by the instructor/facilitator to guide students in thematic discussions exploring contemporary Italian c
ulture. The emphasis of the class will be on developing vocabulary and speaking skills
but reading and grammar will also be addressed.
Please note that if you are registering for more than one class/child, you must go through the registration process separately for each class/child.
