A 60 minute full-immersion lesson followed by a snack for early to mid-level elementary school students. Students will develop basic reading, writing and grammar skills and continue expanding vocabulary and oral communication skills through interactive songs, stories, games and imaginative play that introduce aspects of contemporary Italian culture. Students will use a workbook developed by Anna Maria Jaker for the course of the two to three year cycle. The workbook can be purchased on the first day of class for $10. 12-week semester: September 15 - December 15, 2012; no classes on October 20 (Education Minnesota Conference) and on November 24 (Thanksgiving).
The holiday party (Festa di Natale) is scheduled for December 22, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
