NEW! Italian heritage: Il giorno dei morti (The day of the dead) - Join us for a new initiative entitled "Italian Heritage". Italian Heritage workshops will involve easy readings in Italian & discussion on topics that include Italian cultural traditions, historical events and individuals who sparked change.
This month, through the lens of an Italian writer, Andrea Camilleri, we will read a short story and learn from Italian native, Elisabetta Re, how Italians celebrate Il giorno dei morti.
This workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 4, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., in suite 502 of the Hennepin Center for the Arts Building. The workshop is open to intermediate and advanced Italian speakers. The tuition is $30 for members, and $40 for non-members. One session only. Class material will be provided by the instructor.
