Andrea Palladio - 500 Years is presented on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the birth of "the most imitated architect in history" and whose "influence on the development of English and American architecture probably has been greater than that of all Renaissance architects combined." The exhibit consists of a selection of photographs displaying Palladio's architectural projects for private residences in the Veneto Region, provided by the Istituto Ville Venete and highlight the stylistic evolution of the architect's more than forty years of activity.The exhibition was organized by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura of Chicago, the Istituto Regionale Ville Venete and the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago and brought to Minneapolis by the Italian Cultural Center in partnership with the University of Minnesota's Goldstein Museum of Design.
