Italian Language and Culture Camp: Week one (4-6 years)

Week one of a two-week experience (students have the option of attending either one or two weeks) that immerses students in a fun environment exploring Italian language and culture through interactive songs, stories, crafts, games and imaginative play. Includes a daily snack.

During week one, students will develop vocabulary and basic oral communication skills in the course of covering the following concepts: numbers (1-12), seasons, days of the week, days of the month, colors, weather, time and basic geography.

I numeri 1-12: Che cosa viene in “cinque”?
Girotondo; presentazioni; Buongiorno
Canzone dei numeri (10)

Le vocali italiane sono cinque: canzone, azioni, recitazione, e scrittura; la scrittura sara’ praticata prima su un piccolo “dry-erase board” e poi su un foglio all’interno di profili gia’ stampati.
La stella ha cinque punte: impariamo a disegnare una stella alla lavagna e poi sul foglio.

SNACK - MOVIMENTO: Corri, corri postino

Le dita della mano sono cinque: come si chiamano? Che azioni fanno? Tracciamo la nostra piccola mano.

Le cinque scimmiette stanno a penzoloni…Coloriamo i numeri 1-5.

Week one of the camp meets from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
