A 60 minute immersion lesson, following a school snack, for bilingual children between ages 11 to 17. Students will read Italian texts correctly, write sentences and small paragraphs, and expand their grammar skills using verbs in the indicative future and past indicative tenses (imperfetto, passato prossimo, e passato remoto). Through free writing the students will be able to expand and to refine their grammar skills and learn the use of the conditional tense in conversation. Lesson topics will include a wide variety of cultural elements, from art and mythology to current events, songs, poetry, and geography. 

Students will use the "Espresso 2" textbook written in Italian that should be purchased before the first class through Applause Learning.

No classes on Saturday October 17 (MAE), Saturday November 28 (Thanksgiving). 
 
Christmas Party (festa di Natale) on last day of school Saturday Dec. 12 in room 502.  

 

Important Message:

Membership: Committee of the ICC has adopted a policy requiring membership for all language classes. Membership allows lower rates on classes than previously charged for non-member registration. Plus, membership includes discounts on other classes and events, as well as other benefits. Family membership is recommended, which covers parents and children.
