Just in time for Easter, we will show you how to make Cassata, a classic Sicilian cake made with delicate ricotta cheese and layers of sponge cake.
ICC instructor and Italian native, Mirella Heimpel will guide you through the process assisted by Asse, Rebecca’s pastry chef. Mirella will also provide information about this tasty Sicilian dessert. Participants will enjoy Italian coffees, music from Sicilian composer, Vincenzo Bellini and take home their own Cassata!
The event will be held at Rebecca's Authentic Italian Bakery, located at 2111 East Franklin Avenue, #2, Minneapolis. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th, 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Cost is $45 for ICC members; $50 for non-members.
