A 60 minute full-immersion lesson for junior high school to high school students. Students will develop basic reading skills and write sentences and paragraphs using basic grammar as well as continuing to expand vocabulary and oral communication skills through age-appropriate interactive activities and audiovisual media that introduce aspects of contemporary Italian culture.

Students will use the "Espresso 1" textbook that should be purchased before the first class through Applause Learning.

12-week semester: September 15 - December 15, 2012; no classes on October 20 (Education Minnesota Conference) and on November 24 (Thanksgiving ).

The Holiday party (Festa di Natale) is scheduled for Saturday December 22, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
