About The Robert Everest Trio
Musician and multilingual singer Robert Everest has been playing Italian music for over 10 years, acquiring a repertoire of traditional favorites as well as more contemporary songs by some of Italy's most beloved modern-day composers. He has shared this repertoire with us at many Italian Cultural Center events, including the ICC's inauguration 5 years ago, and his latest CD, The World on Seven Strings includes a few of those gems. This past summer, the trio brought lively and authentic Italian flair to the 90th birthday celebration of acclaimed Italian-born sculptor and poet Anthony Caponi.
For this event, Robert will be playing with renowned saxophonist/flautist Pete Whitman, head of the Woodwind Department at the distinguished McNally Smith College of music; and eclectic contrabassist Dan Arlig, a sought-after violin craftsman by day.
