Advanced Courses are intended for students who have completed Intermediate Level 2 Course and for students who have an advanced level of proficiency in Italian.
The Italia Oggi class meets once per week for eight weeks. The cost of the 8-week session is $250.00 for non-members, $234.50 for members (5% discount).

The goal of this course is for the student to be able to express agreement and disagreement on different topics, and to express opinions and feelings clearly. Overall grammatical topics: review of the subjunctive and conditional modes; introduction of "if" clauses expressing possibility and unreality. Each class will provide information and discussion on current aspects of Italian life.
This class is for students who have completed the Advanced 2 course or who have an advanced level of proficiency in Italian. Based on newspapers, magazines articles, and readings, the course will analyze current aspects of Italian life, society and culture. Through this analysis of different aspects concerning Italy, the class will have the opportunity to review grammatical structures and to further expand vocabulary. The class meets for 2 hours once a week for 8 weeks.
